Domino’s has exited Italy in the wake of franchise holder for Italy ePizza SpA filing for bankruptcy, according to the BBC.
As reported by BBC.com, ePizza SpA initially filed for bankruptcy in April due to the impact of COVID-19-related restrictions.
BBC.com quotes the company as saying, “The COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent and prolonged restrictions from a financial point of view have seriously damaged ePizza.”

The company also stated that it was facing growing competition as a result of traditional restaurants using delivery apps, according to BBC.com.
