After a very competitive search process, we are delighted to announce that Tanya Dunlap will be joining the Advancement team as executive assistant to the vice chancellor and associate vice chancellor.
With more than 20 years of experience providing executive-level support, Dunlap’s career has included working for the state of North Carolina in the public school, community college and the university systems. In addition to supporting the executives in the school system, she has served beside the vice president for Instruction, executive vice president, vice president for Student Success, and dean of Health Sciences at Forsyth Technical Community College; and the athletic director at UNC Greensboro. In these roles, she has provided exceptional administrative support, served as liaison with departments and boards, managed complex projects, and built trusting relationships at all levels across multiple departments of her institutions. Dunlap’s years of experience and wealth of knowledge will be a terrific asset our team.
Tanya’s first day in the office will be Monday, Oct. 3. Please join us in welcoming her to our UNCSA community!
