— If you are looking to get a job or hire someone in the local hospitality industry, you might want to check out a new app that has launched in the area.
Gigpro, which is based in Charleston, S.C., recently launched in the Raleigh area. It is a “restaurant staffing app focused on providing a platform of registered and qualified pros to instantly fill shifts in the hospitality industry,” according to developers.
The developers are holding a special launch and sign-up event on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Raleigh Brewing Company. The event is free and open to the public. Business owners looking to find qualified workers and professionals looking for a flexible way to earn extra income are invited to stop by to learn more about the app.
The app is hoping to help businesses fill much-needed positions amid labor shortages across the industry.
